Whether you’re preparing for the GED® exam, pursuing further education, preparing for employment, or looking to strengthen your academic and digital skills, BVCAP’s Adult Education program provides individualized support to help you reach your goals. Learners receive instruction in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, along with additional instruction and support in:

  • Work Readiness Skills
  • College Readiness Skills
  • Financial Literacy
  • Digital Literacy Skills
  • Northstar Digital Literacy Assessments

Before beginning class, every learner completes assessments in reading and mathematics to help instructors understand their current skill levels and learning needs. Based on the results, instructors work with learners to determine the appropriate class schedule and instructional support.

Tutoring is also available by appointment to BVCAP students who need additional academic support.

BVCAP instructors also assist adult learners with obtaining and completing fee waiver forms for the official GED® exams, registering for the GED Ready® assessment, and scheduling official GED® exams.

Classes are available both in person and remotely.
